Lincoln Exhibit at California Museum

Sometime before August 22nd you should work your way over to the California Museum (for History, Women and the Arts) to see the Library of Congress’ Abraham Lncoln exhibit.

Titled “With Malice Toward None”the exhibit marks Lincoln’s 200th birthday and features some pretty significant articles that you might have heard of such as an original version of the Emancipation Proclamation, the contents of Lincoln’s pockets from the night he was shot and the famous Lincoln bible which both Lincoln and President Obama used for their inaugurations… and which I totally DID NOT take a picture of when I was at the exhibit because photography isn’t allowed in there.

The exhibit came straight from the Library of Congress and Sacramento is its only west coast stop, so get on it! And tell’m Nick on the Town sent you. This won’t mean anything to them and won’t get you any kind of discount or anything, but it’s a fun thing to say.

The California Museum is at the corner of 10th & O streets and the adult ticket price is $8.50.

Here’s a little video featuring the Lincoln bible:
